In the inaugural Canadian Shield tournament, the Canadian men’s national team (CanMNT) defeated Ukraine 4-2 at BMO Field in Toronto. Jonathan David and Promise David scored goals, with Tajon Buchanan also contributing a goal and setting up two for David. The marked the start of the Canadian Shield tournament.
